Car Loop Information

Morning Car Loop Beginning @ 8:30 AM

• When you enter the car loop, please follow the car in front of you. 
• Staff will direct each car to either the front or back loop to help the loop move along quickly.
• ALL students can get out at the front or the back. 
• Please do not wait at the back gate unless you are specifically told to.
• Be prepared for your student to exit on the passenger side of the car (students may exit on the driver’s side in the back loop only). 
• Look to staff for direction and pull up as far as possible before unloading students.
• PLEASE HAVE YOUR STUDENT(S) READY TO EXIT THE VEHICLE AS SOON AS IT IS SAFE FOR THEM TO DO SO. This means shoes on, backpacks zipped, water bottles in hand and goodbyes said.  
• *To ensure the safety of all PRE staff and families please refrain from using your cell phone in the car loop. 
• No cars are allowed in the front bus loop between 8:15-9:00 AM.

Front Car Loop Instructions

• There will be cones placed at the beginning and end of the unloading zone. 
• Pull forward until you are at the first cone or until the car in front of you stops. 
• Do not allow your student(s) to exit the car near the side door of the building or by the gate to the playground. This blocks access to those cars being sent to the back. 

Afternoon Car Loop

To ensure all students go home in a safe manner, each family will be assigned a number. Please write on a paper plate (in bold letters) your family number and place this on your dash when picking up your child(ren). We will call your family number and position them at specific cones where they will be assisted into your car. If someone else picks up your child(ren), they must know the specific family number for our staff to release your child(ren) to them.

Please be assured that we are focused on the safety of each student, therefore, on stormy days the car loop may take a little longer.
